Terms of Service

By accessing or using CookieCut, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CookieCut. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

The service

CookieCut processes images into editable outlines and downloadable 3D model files. The service and its features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable at any time.

Your uploads and use

You are responsible for the images and other material you submit, and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to use them. Do not upload or use material unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, or use the service to create or distribute unlawful content.

You grant the service operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, temporarily store, reproduce as technically necessary, transform, and process your uploads solely to operate CookieCut and provide the requested outputs to you. This license does not transfer ownership of your uploads.

You are responsible for reviewing the generated outline and model before downloading, manufacturing, or using them. Generated files may contain errors or may not meet your intended dimensions, printer, material, or use.

Data handling and retention

Uploaded images are processed to provide the requested outline and model. They are not used to train machine-learning models. Drafts are kept in server memory and become unavailable after up to one hour. Generated files are stored on the server and are not automatically deleted by the current software. Do not upload material you are not comfortable having processed or retained in this way.

For service performance monitoring, CookieCut stores operation type, processing timings, the selected segmentation model, image dimensions, outline point count, and event time in a local database on the service server. This analytics data does not include uploaded images, contour contents, IP addresses, or account identifiers. Records older than 90 days are deleted during subsequent analytics writes.

Fees and optional contributions

CookieCut is currently available without a required usage fee. If optional donations or pay-what-you-want contributions are offered, they are voluntary; you choose the amount, and declining to contribute does not by itself restrict access to the service. Any payment terms shown when making a contribution will also apply. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

No professional or safety assurance

CookieCut is a general-purpose design tool, not a manufacturing, food-safety, engineering, or product-safety service. We do not certify that a generated design is safe, food-contact suitable, printable, fit for a particular purpose, or compliant with applicable standards. You are responsible for checking the design, material, manufacturing process, and finished product before use.

Provided “as is”

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service and generated files are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from or related to your use of the service or generated files. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the service are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply by law.

These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms are made available means you accept the updated terms.
